Windows Vista SP2 Out For Public Download

vistasp2So the Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is out for public download finally. It was released on May 25th 2009 (US date) and is an upgrade to Vista Service Pack 1.  You have two download options for Vista Service Pack 2, as follows:

1. Standalone Installer

2. ISO Image

Some Details:

The installer (Windows6.0-KB948465-X86.exe) is of 348.3 MB and would take around 3 hours on a 256kDSL/Cable  connection. Vista Service Pack 1 is however a prerequisite for installing SP2. You won’t be able to install it directly without SP1. Along with the SP2 Windows Server 2008 SP2 is also released and available for download.
