NEVER Shop from Lynx-India site!

8 November 2009 5 Comments

Lynx-India is a quite popular site and in fact even I had blogged about it long ago here(post removed now) when I found out they accept paypal and have some really good deals.  I spread the name among my friends too! But not ANYMORE. The recent experience that I have had with them is enough!

Amarbir, who is from chandigarh is the owner of Lynx India and you might have seen him at various forums as well by username Amarbir [Chandigarh]. You might call this post as a personal revenge but my main aim is to warn people about how exactly lynx-India is, when you have some problems with them and how Amarbir works and thus rectify my mistake that I had done by referring people once to his site!

If you happen to purchase anything from Lynx-India, pray that everything goes smoothly. If it doesn’t forget your money and don’t call Amarbir. The price that you might have to pay by calling him would be paid by losing your self respect and much more. I have never seen a rude person than him in my life ever! (I don’t want to post exactly what happened with me as it would get too dirty.)

This post is a warning to all those people who either haven’t ever bought from him or have bought but never had any problems with the deal. My advice would be – Go buy from your local dealer for few extra bucks!

To confirm this, just check at the snapshot below. It’s posted at Lynx-India.com site on the first page itself and also check a this link which I found on googling. (Read comments there)

UPDATE:

Seems like Amarbir finally has removed the notice I uploaded above. But WTH it’s still a fun and proof of how Mr. Amarbir and Lynx-India actually works :P

    Well Said Amol,
Even though I don’t want to post in the thread on TE, I want to post my reply at least here.

The thing is even I made a positive rating to him, he made a negative rating to me and this very well shows the real attitude of Amarbir. As you said, never ever buy from Lynx India.

Hats off for making this so that this will help many people to know about Amarbir.

    Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the heads up. India has not reached to that level where you buy stuff online. The reliability is a big factor. I think we have miles to go from here. It would take at least 5 more years to secure online buyers life. Yes, you are right 100-200 bucks spent more is worth regretting later on. Better late then never..

    Thanks for the heads up.

well I was googling around that trying to find out what was going and I found out about erodov forum vs lynx. At first I thought maybe a group of people were attacking eachother but then I found this:
    http://dudethecakeisalie.wordpress.com/2010/02/26/so-would-you-still-consider-him-as-a-trusted-dealer/
It seems that this guy has nailed lynx India and exposed the loophole that such sellers are exploiting.

^^ Thanks for those links. Here’s another link that I found:
    http://www.hifivision.com/dealer-feedback-review/8631-registered-dealer-feedback-3.html

There are LOTS of such links all over the internet. Although, he is quite a big dealer, his unprofessionalism and attitude towards customers is just too too frustrating. Trust me, if you don’t wanna a headache, avoid Amarbir and company as much as you can.
