Welcome to Version 2 of Amol-Patil.com!

I am really sorry but the older webmaster blog is no more and also the posts from that site are gone forever. My host went bankrupt and shut down everything without any notification! I lost all the data that I had. All my backups too were on the host itself and not on my local machine. I learnt a very expensive lesson now – ALWAYS TAKE BACKUPS regularly on your local machine.

This time, instead of going with Joomla, I decided to go with Wordpress  as Joomla was giving me lot of troubles and not to mention the dozens of spams registrations everyday! Wordpress is a tried and tested platform for me and I have used it extensively.

This accident, though big enough to end my site’s reputation, traffic and Page Rank, has surely given me a chance change the entire look of the site (which I wouldn’t have otherwise) as well as make some big modifications in the site which you would see in the coming days!

I am sorry for those webmasters/friends who had gtheir links and posts on my site. I really don’t have any records of the them and hence can’t be posted right away on this new site. If you happen to have them, please contact me and I will try to make everything as it was earlier.

Really sorry to all readers and webmasters for this. But I promise I will make this new site even better than the older one! Kindly flood me in with your suggestions and support this new site. THANKS TO YOU ALL!
