Alibaba.com – A land of scammers!

I think the above logo should say ‘”Alibaba.com – Global scamming starts here”. It’s right, Alibaba is nothing but a site full of scammers. There are so many of them that they now dominate genuine sellers and Alibaba despite knowing all this seems little interested in cleaning up the mess.

Those who thought that their iPhone was secure and couldn’t be hit by a virus, think again! The world’s first iPhone virus has hit in Australia and quite badly. Mobile Number Portability coming this December 20th

The too much awaited Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service is coming to India December 20th, 2009. The service will initially be launched in the 8 metros namely – Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and eventually all over India by March 2010. Mobile users in India were eagerly waiting for this service to give their present mobile network a kick and look out for a better and cheaper option but were stuck up with the service provider due to the mobile number.

Download Microsoft Office 2010 Beta

The much awaited Microsoft Office 2010 has been released (beta version) for publicĀ  downloads and for beta testers. Among the features in office 2010 is the social networking connector that allows users to get their social networking feeds into Outlook. Microsoft also released the Mobile Office 2010 to used on Windows 6.5 smartphones and is available to download at the Windows Market place.

Google Image Swirl – Image Search by Google

There was no good specific search engine for searching just images (of course not considering the Bing Image search). To overcome this problem, Google has come up with Google Image Swirl, a product that is currently in the Google labs. The technology used is still a work in progress and hence no estimate can be given as when this product will roll out in the market. To use it, you need to have Flash and Javascript enabled in your browser.
